Even though she was trained to work on all parts of all bodies, Kimberly Grimes always seemed to end up with requests of a more personal nature.
It didn’t take her long to figure out that women were bored with traditional spa/salon menus; frustrated by the lack of services that fit their more feminine needs; and disenchanted with places that gave their most precious parts assembly-line style service. She decided that those that trusted her with such intimate concerns deserved an intimate place that addressed them.
After years of research and development (and lots of practice on brave and brutally honest friends), Kimberly opened the doors of VAVAVOOM in April 2013, making it the first and only esthetics’ studio of its’ kind. Since then, over 550 beloved “voomers” have come to enjoy designer waxing, personal beauty and wellness services, and good conversation* over pink drinks, customized music playlists, and local art.
*These good conversations were the inspiration for VAVAVoice, the highly interactive online mini-mag that can be found here
