Black Lives Matter Greater Atlanta Inc. is an independent non-profit organization registered with the Georgia Secretary of State. We made a decision not to affiliate with BLM National and have no desire to do so. We simply don’t believe in centering “sexuality/gender” around the organization and or putting “LGBTQ” agenda before the black agenda. While we are big supporters of a LGBTQ sisters and brothers and will actively fight for them, we don’t believe in creating an organization that is designed to dismantle systematic racism, class-ism and social injustices against people of color but then turn around and be double standard by dividing our people.
